Polygon has just released its "Green Manifesto: Smart Contracts with the Planet". This is a commendable effort to be responsible for the energy used on its blockchain. KlimaDAO is a decentralized climate activist organization that will help them by conducting in-depth analysis to assess the environmental impact of each transaction on the network. They will then work with Offsetra to develop a true on-chain solution for the situation at hand.

Polygon has also commissioned a second audit of its emissions to ensure the accuracy of its data. As a result, Crypto Carbon Rating Institu te will conduct its own survey and report its findings to Polygon. as a result, those who use the platform will have greater peace of mind.

Polygon has purchased $400,000 in carbon credits as part of an effort to offset its own emissions. However, it will use $20 million in the future to fund eco-friendly practices within WEB3. Thus, ensuring that every project developed on the network is environmentally friendly.
